Wetland Conservation Lands

This 13.4 acres site was donated to the City of Campbell River by Couverdon at the beginning of Jubilee Heights development.  By environmental standards it is considered a “bog” and is home to a diverse range of plants and animals supporting other transient species (think bird watching) in the area.  It was recently named “Burrell’s Bog” after a local environmental steward who played key role in the bog’s protection.  Interesting fact: the biological inventory of the bog is the basis for the road names in the Jubilee Heights development….Salal, Sitka, Twinberry, Salmonberry…with more to come

Coming Soon

Phase 5 is coming soon, offering single family lots with walkable access to the up-and-coming Commercial Village and surrounding trail systems.

Multi-family homes

Multi-family homes and live/work units help to round out this part of Jubilee Heights providing vibrancy and diverse home ownership opportunities for entry buyer and retirees looking for the ultimate convenience.

Jubilee Heights Phase 1

Ground broke at the Jubilee Heights community in November of 2018 and it wasn’t long before the first dream home of this community was built! This phase is unique in its proximity to the up and coming Commercial Village and Dogwood Trail head, that leads to the Beaver Lodge Forest Lands. The landscaping design that can be expected throughout the neighbourhood is now taking root in both Phase 1 and Phase 2. Tree lined streets and groomed boulevards are standard features of this fast growing community.

Jubilee Heights Phase 2

Phase 2 lends to the traffic calmed streets that are a hallmark for this community, ending with a cul-de-sac on Salal Street. Another entrance to the Dogwood trail is found from the cul-de-sac for great family access by foot or on bike.

Residential Future Phase

The future residential phase is the largest single family home phase in the Jubilee Heights development. Single family lots will be in the 6300 – 20,000 sq.ft range.

It is characterized by its connection to nature, trails and the elementary school and playfield site. Backing on to park and conservation land on 3 sides, this phase will provide residents the opportunity to “live on the edge” immersed in nature while being a 5 minute stroll from the commercial village. The backdrop will be the Beaver Creek Riparian area that includes Beaver Creek Trail in the west, the elementary school site in the east along South Dogwood Street, and the Beaver Lodge Lands and its extensive, coveted trail system in the north.

Commercial Village

The Commercial Village is becoming the social and cultural hub of the neighbourhood, offering Jubilee Heights residents and the extended community the convenience of popular amenities like retail and dining close to home. Located in the heart of the neighbourhood, this charming village complements the surrounding homes and forest lands. Enjoy an evening stroll to meet friends, grab a coffee, and experience a vibrant village designed for your lifestyle.

Amenities

This area was given to the City of Campbell River by Couverdon at the beginning of the Jubilee Heights development.  It is over 10.7 acres of land which has been set aside for an elementary school and accompanying playing fields that will serve both the school and the neighbourhood.  An idyllic setting, we hope to see a school get built with kids laughing and playing on the site for years to come. Inquiries regarding the future and timing of the school opportunity should be directed to the City of Campbell River and/or School District 72 staff.
